Work from a copy and map the page order
Keep the received PDF untouched. Write down the pages you need before splitting: for example, pages 2–4 for an application, then page 9 as an attachment. This prevents a plausible-looking final file with one necessary page omitted.
In Split PDF, enter 2-4,9 and choose one PDF: the result has four pages in source order. Entering 9,2-4 does not move page 9 to the front; selections are sorted and duplicates removed. To change that order, extract the two pieces separately and arrange them in Merge PDF.
Correct orientation before combining
In the extracted four-page file, original page 9 is now page 4. Open that file in Rotate PDF and turn tile 4 if the attachment is sideways. Tile numbers always refer to the file currently open, not the original source.
Merge only the final set, in the order the recipient expects. Download the result and open it once to check page count, sequence and orientation before sending it.
Use images only when an image is actually needed
PDF to Image turns each rendered page into pixels. That is useful for a preview, a slide, or a site that accepts only images, but the result is no longer selectable or searchable text. Keep the PDF when the recipient accepts PDF.
When photos must become one document, use JPG to PDF and arrange the image order first. Very large photos can create a large PDF, so resize copies before assembling if an upload limit applies.
Check what page operations cannot preserve
The PDF tools accept files up to 100 MiB each; Merge PDF accepts up to 20 files. These are input limits, not a guarantee that every device can process the largest combination. Password-protected documents must be unlocked in an authorized application first.
Copying pages keeps existing text rather than performing OCR. It does not guarantee preservation of document-level bookmarks, forms, signatures or links to removed pages. Open the downloaded document in the recipient’s reader and check those features if they matter; retain signed originals separately.
